GSM means grams per square metre - the weight of the fabric. Most fast-fashion T-shirts sit at 140–160 GSM: lighter, and less durable.
At 220 GSM this T-shirt has real weight and structure. It holds its shape longer, gives a clean drape without clinging, and stays opaque even in lighter colours like white and light grey.
